Our Counselling Service
Our aim is to provide a professional and confidential counselling service to the local community at a reasonable cost.
Counsellors at Centre 70 are in regular professional supervision, and are undertaking a recognised training, in which they have achieved the required level for clinical practice.
Centre 70 Counselling Service is accredited by the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and we adhere to the BACP ethical framework. We are committed to competence, high levels of service delivery, and professional accountability. For further information about BACP please see their website: www.bacp.co.uk
Counselling sessions take place weekly, with the same counsellor, and each session lasts 50 minutes. Counselling can continue for up to one year. Counselling takes place at Knight’s Hill and we are unable to offer home visits.
INSPIRE Positive change for your and your community
In October 2018 we launched a new project, INSPIRE, alongside Centre 70 Advice Service.
INSPIRE offers holistic support by providing access to our counselling and advice services, as well as volunteering opportunities where you can connect with your community.
We are developing peer support and volunteering opportunities where you can develop a support network and receiving training.
To find out how you can join INSPIRE and if you are eligible, contact the project coordinator firstname.lastname@example.org
